Shelf Series is an ongoing group of works that utilizes the format of the household shelf as a place to hold, present and store objects. I am pulling influence from product displays found in department stores, in combination with home decor “tips” sourced from Good Housekeeping and websites like Houzz. The vignettes suggest patterns and textures found in the home through gridded ceramic tiles, lighted components and matching color schemes.
